1) Set Up a Wallet and Add ‘Base’ Network

As RISITA is running on Base Chain which is EVM-compatible, the first thing you’ll need to do to buy RISITA is set up a wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens (tokens working on the Ethereum network).

We recommend using MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet or MyEtherWallet. Securely store your wallet’s seed phrase, as it’s required for future access.

Then, add ‘Base’ network to your wallet, as your wallet will need to be set on this network to trade RISITA later.

2) Purchase ETH (Ethereum)

To buy Risitas memecoin and pay for transaction fees, you’ll need ETH (Ethereum coin) in your wallet. Purchase ETH from popular exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, or via Flooz.xyz, and follow the next step to bridge it to Base Mainnet.

3) Bridge ETH to Base Chain

There are several ways to bridge to Base (sending ETH to your wallet from an exchange through the Base network, or using an official bridge). Read our ‘How to bridge to Base Chain‘ article and follow the method you prefer.

4) Select ‘Base’ Network in Your Wallet

In order to interact with Base network, you’ll need to select its network that you have added in your wallet during Step 1. If you did not add it yet, read our ‘How to add Base network to MetaMask?‘ article.

5) Buy RISITA on Our Website

Use this secure and very convenient widget to buy RISITA directly from our website! Connect your wallet, type the amount of ETh you want to spend, and confirm the transaction. Fast and easy!

6) Buy RISITA on Uniswap

6.1) Visit Uniswap

Now that you’re set, visit RISITA’s page on Uniswap.

6.2) Connect Your Wallet to Uniswap

With Base-compatible ETH in your wallet, connect your wallet to Uniswap.

6.3) Swap ETH for RISITA

On the Uniswap platform, connect your wallet to the ‘Base’ network, then select ‘Swap‘. Choose ‘ETH‘ in the ‘You pay‘ field and click on the ‘Select token‘ button in the ‘You receive‘ field.

Paste the following RISITA token address as shown on the screenshot below:

Set the amount of ETH to swap for RISITA, then click ‘Swap‘. Review and confirm the transaction details with your wallet.

Note: if the transaction fails, try again and adjust the transaction fee settings on your wallet. The issue could also be due to low slippage. Therefore try to swap again with a higher value (1-3% works in most of the cases).

7) Buy RISITA on Flooz

7.1) Visit Flooz.xyz

Now that you’re set, visit RISITA’s page on Flooz.xyz.

7.2) Connect Your Wallet to The Flooz Widget

With the Flooz widget, you can connect any type of wallet (MetaMask, Flooz, Zerion, Coinbase, Wallet Connect, Trust Wallet, 400+ more…). Smart Contract audits have been conducted by industry-leading providers (read more).

7.3) Select Your Cryptocurrency

You can select it by clicking on the crypto name (by default: ETH). Then, write the amount you want to spend in to buy RISITA. Make sure your wallet is connected to ‘Base’ network.

7.4) Confirm Your Transaction

Once your happy with the settings and numbers, confirm your transaction and follow the next steps.

8) Add Risitas Coin to Your Wallet

For RISITA token to be displayed in your wallet, you need to add it manually (if you’re a MetaMask user, see our article: How to add RISITA to MetaMask). In your wallet options, select ‘Import Tokens‘ then ‘Custom Token‘. Enter the contract address for Risitas Coin (mentioned at the beginning of the page). Also, enter the token symbol (RISITA) and decimal (18) if necessary.

Congratulations, you now own your first Risitas coins!
