To trade RISITA on Base, you’ll need to add the Base network to your EVM-compatible wallet (it can be MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Wallet Connect, etc.).
In this article, we’re going to show you how to add Base chain to MetaMask, but the method is quite similar for any type of EVM-compatible wallet.
Do not worry, amigo. It’s easy and fast!
1) Open MetaMask
Click on the MetaMask extension in your browser to open your wallet.
2) Access Network List
At the top of the MetaMask window, you’ll see the current network selected (most likely Ethereum Mainnet). Click on this network name to open the network list.
3) Add Network
Scroll down the list and click on ‘Add network‘ to start the process of adding a new network.
4) Select ‘Base Mainnet’
In the new screen, you will probably see Base network as ‘popular custom network’. Click ‘Add‘ and MetaMask will automatically add the Base network to your wallet with the correct settings.
5) Enter Base’s Network Details
If you don’t see Base Mainnet, you can select ‘Add a network manually‘, and enter the following information for Base Mainnet:
- Network Name: Base Mainnet
- New RPC URL: https://mainnet.base.org/
- Chain ID: 8453
- Currency Symbol: ETH
- Block Explorer URL: https://basescan.org/
6) Save and Connect
Click the ‘Save‘ button to add the Base network to your MetaMask. Once saved, MetaMask will ask you if you want to switch to the Base network, click ‘Switch to Base Mainnet‘ to start using it.
7) Bridge some Fraction of ETH to Base Chain
A tiny bit of ETH will be needed to trade RISITA, or cover Base’s feather-light transaction fees on Uniswap (using Base chain).

1) Different Ways to Bridge to Base Chain
You can bridge your ETH tokens in various ways. Most common methods are bridging via a centralized exchange (easiest and fastest way) or via an official bridge (also easy, but may take more time).
2) Bridge to Base Through a Centralized Exchange
The simplest and most cost-effective method is to withdraw some ETH from a centralized exchange (e.g., Binance, Kucoin, Coinbase, Kraken, etc.) and send those ETH to your personal wallet by selecting the ‘Base‘ network when making the transfer.
In this article, we’ll focus on using Binance, but the method is similar with other exchanges.
2.1) Access the ‘Assets’ then ‘Withdraw’ Section
Assuming you’ve already bought some ETH on Binance, go to your account and click ‘Assets‘, then ‘Spot‘.
Click the three dots and select ‘Withdraw‘.
2.2) Select ‘Base’ Network
Now, verify that ‘ETH‘ is selected, enter the address of an ERC20-compatible wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rabby Wallet, etc.), and most importantly, select ‘Base‘ as withdrawal network.
2.3) Confirm the Withdrawal
Check if everything is ok and ‘Base’ network is selected, and click ‘Continue‘ to perform the withdrawal.

3) Bridge to Base Through a Dedicated Bridge
The second way to bridge to Base is to use a dedicated bridge, such as the official Base bridge or Orbiter‘s.
In this article, we’ll focus on using the Base bridge.
3.1) Access the Official Base Bridge
Go to the official Base Bridge website. Make sure you’re visiting the legitimate site to avoid scams.
3.2) Connect Your Wallet
Click on the ‘Connect Wallet‘ button to link your MetaMask or preferred Web3 wallet. Ensure your wallet is set to the Ethereum network!
3.3) Select Your Assets
Choose Ethereum (ETH) as the asset you want to convert to Base Mainnet. Enter the amount of ETH you wish to transfer.
3.4) Initiate the Bridge Transaction
After specifying the amount, click on the ‘Deposit ETH‘ button. A transaction window will pop up in your MetaMask, showing the transaction details, including the gas fee on Ethereum.
3.5) Confirm the Transaction
Review the details, and if everything looks correct, confirm the transaction in your wallet. Wait for the transaction to be processed on the Ethereum network.
4) Receive ETH on Base Mainnet
Once the transaction is confirmed, the bridged ETH will appear in your wallet on the Base Mainnet. You may need to add the Base network to your wallet if you haven’t already done so (see ‘How to add Base network to my wallet?‘).
5) Verify the Transaction
Check your balance on the Base Mainnet to confirm the receipt of your bridged ETH. You can use the Base network’s block explorer to track the transaction.

4) Expand View
Click on the menu icon in MetaMask (three horizontal lines), then find and select ‘Expand view’.
5) Navigate to ‘Import tokens’
Select the ‘Tokens’ tab, then select ‘Import tokens’ at the bottom of the interface.
6) Import Token Address
Select the ‘Custom token‘ tab, input the contract address of the RISITA token (the one you’ve copied at Step 1). This address should be officially provided on the RISITA website or a trusted blockchain explorer like BaseScan.
7) Token Details Fill Automatically
After entering the address, MetaMask should automatically populate the fields for the token symbol and decimals. Check if everything is ok and click ‘Next‘.
8) Add the Token
Click on ‘Import’. The RISITA token should now be listed in your MetaMask wallet along with your balance!

We’re currently facing an issue with our main CMC page, displaying the old and deprecated token charts (running on the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks) instead of our new RISITA token chart (running on Base network).
Those charts look terrible and dead right now (although it’s the exact opposite!), because we had to dump the old tokens to re-create the liquidity on Uniswap – Base chain, and get our new market cap back to where it was (around $1.8M). If you’ve been scanning through our Etherscan token holders page, and noticed that 20% of RISITA’s total supply seems untouched, you might be curious about what it represents.
This slice of the RISITA’s supply pie was initially earmarked for an airdrop to PEPE token holders at our launch. The idea was that PEPE holders could claim their share of RISITA if they took the required steps.
However, the uptake was surprisingly low, with only a handful of PEPE holders stepping forward to claim their RISITA tokens. In light of this, we made a decisive move for the community and the project’s future by burning the ‘merkle tree’ keys associated with the airdrop process. This decision ensures that the tokens allocated for the airdrop cannot be accessed or distributed anymore. Like a token burn.
To clarify, the tokens themselves have not been burned, because the contract itself wouldn’t allow it; instead, we’ve burned the access keys – effectively locking away this portion of the supply forever. This action prevents any possibility of these tokens re-entering circulation through the original airdrop mechanism. Even if, by some chance, an individual were to guess the key correctly, they would only have the power to reinitiate the airdrop to PEPE holders, not to withdraw the tokens for themselves.
